The project team has created training materials, practical tools and web application for eco-citizenship

How to become an eco-citizen?

How to help young people to become eco-citizens?

How to help young people with mental disabilities to become eco-citizens?

The answer is:

Use the training materials and the web-app, created by the project team of INSIDEE.

Teams of France, Spain, Italy, Latvia and Bulgaria have created unique training material and tools with the aim to gain knowledge how to transfer importance of eco-gestures, how to raise awareness of the major issues of society, how to reflect green thinking on everyday life, and how encourage to become an environmental responsible European citizen.

The training materials and practical tools are online, on 5 languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Latvian and Bulgarian) including interesting and useful information about:

  • Sustainable food
  • Water management
  • Waste management
  • Renewable energy
  • Sustainable cities
  • Short texts
  • Pictures, diagrams
  • Videos
  • Links to interesting information
  • Self assessment modules

What can I do?

How to be better to nature? And to our city? What does it mean to be an eco-citizen?

What things can I do while at home, at work and while resting to take care of the future of the Earth?

We do not need to make huge gestures, it is enough for each of us to take small steps every day.

It’s easy! You can do it!

If you are a trainer, youth worker, mentor, social worker, coach – you could use the training materials and practical tools using the project website: insidee.eu

The “Pearl” of the project is the web application “Become an Eco-Ambassador”, created by the international project team of INSIDEE.

The web-app is unique with the eco-topic and because it’s designed and realized to be “user-friendly” for young people with mental disabilities. The web-app works like a quiz, like a game, with specially designed questions, images, prizes.

The web application “Become an Eco-Ambassador” could be used by:

  • young people with mental disabilities
  • people with mental or other kind of disabilities
  • children and students
  • even adult people

The web application “Become an Eco-Ambassador” is reachable in the project website: insidee.eu

Young people with disabilities will have the opportunity to be included in environmental and sustainable development issues. This is the goal of Erasmus Plus funded project INSIDEE (INclusion through SustaInable Development and European Eco-citizenship).
